Why I Walk

I walk because it is free.
I walk because it brings me into nature.
I walk because it is what my Dad and I did when I was a kid.
I walk because I wish my Mom had gotten up, started walking, and just kept going.
I walk because it makes me feel alive.

I think you should ask the people you interview “what do you eat? Or not eat?” that way you can tie together their obviously healthy athletism to their diet. It may enlighten you and others about choices.

People are really jutdmengal when it comes to food and seeing others embody health habits. I totally don’t get it sometimes is it jealousy? are they just jealous that someone else is taking the extra minute to think about what they’re fueling their bodies with? Maybe. But who really knows? Keep doing what you’re doing it’s awesome and you definitely lead by example. Eating should be fun, not punitive, so kudos to you for knowing how to balance your healthy habits with special treats.
